S3 is a free monthly 3rd Saturday photowalk which meets in Niles and carpools to a variety of locations in the Bay Area. Meeting time varies, please check the event listing for exact details.
This site will provide a much better viewing experience for our photos then the older site. To keep the image quality up we are requiring that members post images that are at least 1400 pixels in the long dimension and compressed to < 2048k (2m).

Upcoming Photowalks...
Morgan Territories
We will visit the Morgan Territories Park for our May photo walk. This is a large park north of Livermore and there should still be green for this walk due to the recent rains.
We will meet at the Mission Park and Ride lot at 11:00 am and leave for the trailhead at 11:30.
The walk will be on dirt trails and I am going to pick a fairly mild several mile route. My goal is no big hills. This park has a lot of very accessible hillside trees so there is plenty of nearby subject matter. Bring your camera, batteries, memory, lens hood, also a snack, water bottle, coat and sun hat for your comfort as it may be chilly, or hot…. Hiking shoes can also increase your comfort.

This is a good parking area at this park so we will ride pool but it is not a critical necessity, you can drive solo and be assured a parking spot. For ride pool passengers the driver will dictate if the car is mask required or mask optional as our nod to good public health.
